its davy jone's chest that they are looking for and davy jones is actually dead because he does not have a heart anymore..its in the chest so they call it pirates of the carribean:dead mans chest...get it now? i hope so lol..sometimes im not so clear. o and the third one is going ot be called pirates fo the carribean:uncharted waters...well thats one title that the directors are thinking of..htat and "at worlds end" or soemthing...and its coming out may 25, 2007!!!! cant wait

Davy Jones put his heart in a chest For the ocean!Will wants to stab the heart becuase his dad got killed!Jack Does not want to die and The other dude just wants to make a fortune! Will gets mad near the end of the movie because he saw Jack and Elizabeth make out!!!!

They're probably referring to Davy Jone's locker, which not only meant the deep sea, but supposedly that Jones had some special treasure as well.
I think it's only supposed to be an entertaining movie to watch, so don't worry about it too much.

Dead man's chest is a coffin, I think. But it probably refers to Davy Jones' heart in the chest.
