Not to throw water on your getting compliments, but is it unusual for him to compliment you at all? How long have you been married and how old are the two of you? Was he ever in the habit of saying I love you--even before the marriage? Has he just started saying these things for no good reason and being especially attentive to you? Sorry, but I'm a suspicious person and my first thought would be is he feeling guilty about something--or someone? Maybe it was only a mild flirtation and nothing happened, but he may have enjoyed it and now feels as though he let you down. Hope I'm wrong, though.

It's hard to know whether or not that is good without knowing whether or not he used to say "i love you" a lot. If he did, and now the "i love you's" have turned into "you're a good woman, I'm happy with you." You may have a problem...Maybe he doesn't love you anymore but because you are a good woman he'll stick with you anyway. There's only one way you are going to find that out....You gotta ask him.

well it sounds like he is just trying to complement you, he does no want you to think that he does not apreciate you, and as common sence as it is for you to just say , why dont he just say i love you alot. its not common sence for them. they try to go way out , they want to make sure that you believe what they are saying and maybe he dont think that saying i love you alot, is the best way to let you know how much, he probably feels that by stating the reasons why he is happy with you would make you feel even better, than just hearing that he loves you alot. give the guys some credit he realy is trying to say the things that matter, to make sure you have no doubts that he loves you, there are not that many men out there that put that much thought into it. so embrase it and find a new way to show him that you love him and why. its all good, im glad to see that there are guys out there that realy go the distance to please thier wives.

That is a big compliment. Maybe he is looking around at other marriages and is feeling like he hit the jackpot! My husband mentions that he feels lucky. Some wives (and husbands) are not very nice to their spouses.

yea. maximum men merely say that a particular woman is hott or lovable. wonderful and desirable are huge compliments because they really have more effective meaning. men imagine a large type of girls folk are warm, yet in straightforward words some ladies strke them a actually wonderful.

Tell him to add I love you and you'll believe him! When he gives you one of the compliments........say........and do you love me too? It's great that he loves to compliment you! And as long as he says I love you once everyday, I would take them and run before there are not any!

It's a very big compliment. Be sure to live up to it.
If you want to hear "I love you", say it to him first. He'll respond in kind.

Actions speak louder than words. How are his actions towards you? I Love You can become just a habit to say. Maybe he just wants you to know, that you really are everything he says you are.
