You would be about a level three or four. I dont know what you can do on bars or vault but for a level four you need round off backhandspring consistantly. For bars you need to be able to do a pullover and a windmill. Also on beam you should be able to do turns and jumps as well as a handstand. It is a lot harder and different than cheerleading. Keep working hard and you will get there.

For your floor, you would be a Level 4--they do a roundoff, backhandspring. In Level 5, they do a roundoff, 2 backhandsprings. However, in order to move up a level, you have to be able to perform all the skills on all four events, which a lot of people struggle with. Most people can compete Level 4 fairly easily, because you don't need a kip on bars and everything is pretty easy, I think. For Level 5 you have to have a kip on the bars (both high and low bars) and that usually takes awhile to get. I'm sure your coaches have you at the level that is appropriate for you.
Also, it's not wrong to be scared of things--it's natural. It's not natural to not be scared of anything--and dangerous too. Remember to think about what you're doing and to aknowledge the fact that you might get hurt, so make sure you can handle what you're coach is asking you to do. If you have any questions, just ask your coach.

If you favor gracefulness rhythmic gymnastics is most commonly quality (Why I did not decide on it!) If you lose interest with gradual "beautiful" pursuits, consistent gymnastics is most commonly higher. I'm now not bendy both, (So completely satisfied I inherited my dads hamstrings! UGH!) however, I get by way of. You'll be extra bendy as time is going on, I'm nonetheless now not ready to do a excellent cut up or whatever, however, so long as your simply now not bendy seeing that you are out of train you will have to be satisfactory. Also, when you do make a decision you desire to do rhythmic, ballet might aid you end up much more bendy, and it is going to aid you on beam. I might do ballet, however I hate being gradual, I suppose I'm being held again or some thing...

Well it sounds like you would be a level 3 or 4. Gymnastics is alot diffrent than cheerleading. Usualy the training is muchg more and perfection of skills is more important. Most gyms require you to test into a level 1-5 and frokm level 5 and up you need to get a certain score in competitin to move up.

Sounds like about a level 5, maybe. Work on your bars for strength. That is the best, and vault, too. Work hard on your splits/flexibility, sounds like you're on the right road!!! Good luck and all the best, from a former Level 4-6 Competitive Coach. BTW, remember your limitations and don't push beyond them. A good coach won't ask you to do anything you aren't ready for.

i think its more about repitition, the more you do something, the better you'll have it down, its not about what you can do now, its about what you can do a thousand times perfectly.
and i've done martial arts for years, and a lot of the stretching is similar to what a gymnast would do. i have no problem sparring with a blackbelt for an entire night, but watching you guys fly around like crazy, that makes me go "man.... they're gonna get hurt..."
lol. you guys are brave. good luck.
