You COULD wear them to a school dance, as long as you're willing to endure some pain! Unless you're one of those people whose feet never hurt after wearing high heels (though I don't know any people like that!), you might want to wear some with a smaller heel, or take them off while you're dancing. But if you really want to wear them, just buy some gel pads or something like that for the balls of your feet (the part right before you toes) so they don't hurt as bad afterwards. Have fun at your dance!

Find something similar, but in a lower heel. Your feet will be killing you by the end of the night! Not only is the heel way too high for extended periods of time, and the activity of dancing, there is nothing at the back to keep the shoe on your foot. You'll have the shoes slipping and falling off your feet all night. Add the sweat of your feet, you get blisters. Try adding an ankle strap to the look. It will still be a cute sandal, but it won't go anywhere.
A dance is a bad place to try out a new height for heels for the first time. Try Zappos.com for similar shoes.

i think these are a little too high and seem very uncomfortable to dance in. If you do bring them u are going to end up taking them off and carrying them around which can be a pain in the butt (personal experince). Try something lower like a 1or 2 inch or if your short (not trying to offend u because im short too -5'5 to be exact) wear a 3 inch heel. Also if your going to wear shoes that are pretty like that don't buy a dress that will cover your feet as it will take the "pretttiness " away from the shoes. Hope my advice helped!! OH YEAH HAVE FUN AT UR DANCE WHATEVER UR DECISION IS!

These are beautiful shoes, but more for a short period of time. If you plan on dancing, or even walking much, your feet will be killing you by the end of the evening. Heels that high take a lot of time to get accustomed to.
Wear shoes that are beautiful, but not so uncomfortable that the only thing you remember a year from now is how bad your feet hurt, not how much fun you had.

I think that those are a bit too high. You really run the risk of hurting yourself or breaking something from wearing that. I'd suggest wearing only a one inch heel at the most, especially if it's for a school dance. The worst thing in the world is being uncomfortable and not being able to dance. If I were you, I'd try either DSW Shoes if you have one nearby or Shoe Pavillion. Both of those stores have a warehouse FULL of shoes to choose from and I'm sure that you'd be bound to find something from looking in both stores. If those don't work out, you can also try Macys or Nordstrom. If both those stores aren't near you, you can also check them online. Below I have the link to the shoes at Nordstrom (B.P. or short for Brass Plum) that have really cute shoes.

and the link to Macy's shoes, which has three pages of shoes to choose from

Good luck in your search for the right shoe!

Try just walking around n them for a day or 2 and see how they feel. If hey are comfortable and u feel like u stay in them all night then go for it. Hey and if they are not wear them anyways and bring a extra pair of shoes to dance in.

I assure you that you can't dance with them, they look so uncomfortable. Try something more dance friendly, like the shoes ballroom dancers use.
