Think the "Illuminati" is real? Is his history correct? Maybe not the whole story but the oldest "Brotherhood" is still alive? Scares the crap out of me.

Yes, the secrect group "Illuminati" IS real. I believe that Brown refers to the Bavarian Illuminati group, however, if you've seen any of those TV documentaries the Illuminati was not a very successful group, or so goes the story. It is however not known if they are still around today, although it's popularly believed that they are not.
However, some of Brown's story (it is fiction of course ) and some of his facts aren't exactly completely true regarding the Illuminati. They might be connected to other secret groups, or be parts of other stories.

Dan Brown is a fiction writer. The Illuminati is real and is probably using Dan Brown to create interference.

yes, i do think the brotherhood still exists. you should read the Illuminatus! Trilogy, by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea- it was written in the late 60s, and is far more entertaining, and far more accurate. also check out some books by David Icke- he has lots of good research about the illuminati.
don't be scared of the illuminati- that's what they would want, plus- they don't control as much as they make it seem like they do (but they have their hands in just about everything).
don't believe anything you hear or read about the illuminati 100%- they are tricksters, and they are notorious for infiltrating research projects in order to throw people off of their trail, so much of the information about them that you come across is partially false.

There is probably some sort of brotherhood that runs the world but they don't call themselves the illuminated ones. Look at the big banks of Europe and the old money families like the Rothchilds

interesting anyway...dan brown writes well and interesting books are they based on some fact yes, are they nonfiction absolutely.
