Actually, there's evidence that love IS an addiction. The same areas of the brain that are stimulated by drugs are the areas stimulated by feelings of love - particularly romantic love. The symptoms of love and the withdrawal symptoms of losing love are also point to it being very much like an addiction.

Certainly. There are people with addictive personalities. You feel better around them. They can be addicting for many reasons: some are very nice, others are very interesting, and others just have something intangible.
But remember, there are no bad feelings. What can be bad is the actions they inspire. Liking to be near someone is just fine, as long as you keep moderation in your relationship. If your actions affect you negatively, you need to change them.

No, I don't think it's possible to be addicted to a person. It can become very easy for some people to see themselves through the eyes of others and to need that person to feel good about themselves. That can get pretty dangerous, and you can lose yourself in the process.

LOL Absolutely. It's unhealthy and a symptom of low self esteem on your part. I should know, I'm addicted to somebody and it holds me back from meeting someone else.

uh, not really, unless you are in love with that person
but realy the only addiction that would draw you to a person would be sex, drugs, violence, really that is the only way. So yea, I found that online.

Absolutely...if you feel a connection with someone....or have strong feelings for someone...it will often feel like you can never get enough of them...in fact...being away from them for long periods of time can feel like torture sometimes....but be sure not to smother that person....usually giving them space makes them appreciate you more.
