I'm researching the Nativ American tribes of the Charleston area prior to European settlement, going back as far as the data will allow me. I'm utlizing other resources, but thought I would put out feelers here to find anyone who may have knowledge of this subject, or specific resource suggestions.

Prefer serious replies only, I thank you for your feedback.

Not to be a a total nit picker, but South Carolina or Charleston are political enities that did not exist at the time you are interested in. It's like asking about the detailed history of England in the year around 3000 BC. There was no England then...Consider also that there no "history" of either place that at that time, they were in a prehistoric state. The term "History" is by definition something written down.

Therefore the only information available is going to be from archaeology, geology, anthropology and any folklore that was gleaned from the natives after settlement and techically, that's not history.

A better question is in Do You know anything about the prehistory of the area that is now Charlestown South Carolina.
