Maybe the people you call friends just play lip service or just have to many of their own worries to be worrying about yours!

Try finding new friends that will listen but also if you are very sad about an issue why not seek support from a group where they may be able to help you resolve any personal issues without asking you "friends"

Good luck take care

That is a great question, I have said that all my life. No one is ever there when you need them, sometimes not even your mate. If you do find someone to listen, when you turn your back, they tell everyone what you said. No one cares about friends and confidences anymore. We are here to listen on yahoo answers, just tell us anything.

Choose one on here, just talk out your problems with them through their 360. But don't give out anything that could lead them to you, well not until you have known them for 10 years. Most people have a blog spot, i noticed you don't show one on your 360, write down your thoughts and troubles, invite people to comment, it's like having an open diary.

i agree with pay, but sometimes you have to really know who your friends are. and at that time you may be looking for an ear from the wrong person. those you are there for may not be the ones for you to help you out. it is not always when i tell you something i need you to tell me the same thing.

it means that the people you call friends aren't real friends but only aquaintances. a real friend is there when you need him, through good or bad times. think about meeting new people and not surrounding yourself with all the wrong ones.

Isn't that the truth? You give your friends, your husband, your family all of your attention and support then they turn a deaf ear when you need them. I hear you sister!
