Liberals use their freedom of speech right? I mean we can all agree that liberals talk.. a lot.. sometimes too much. Though, they use it, right?

As for democracy, a large population of the people are liberals... and they vote!

I don't see your point. People like you, and notice I said people, not conservatives because not all conservatives think like you do, I'm sure, don't make yourselves look any smarter. It takes all kinds of political views to make this country run, if you're against liberals and one of those people who believe in removing liberals from the country so there are only conservatives, doesn't that make you a despotist? Someone who believs in tyranny? Though you say you love democracy but think that if the other side isn't your side then who needs them? Democracy is representation and removing a perticular group because you don't like their opinion is extremely silly and ridiculous. You give many a conservative a bad name for calling yourself a patriot. Go home, please. I'm a liberal and I love my freedoms and I love democracy. I love my freedom of speech and I have many conservative friends whom I disagree with. I've never insulted them though. Grow up and learn about what you speak.

And you base that assumption on what? Let's take a look at what conservatives have done for the cause of freedom: Guantanamo Bay (illegal imprisonment, civil rights violations), the patriot act and phone tapping (government encroaching on citizens' privacy) and not to mention the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (thousands of American soldiers and foreign civilians dead, and nothing can free you from death). Not to mention the strong push for an increase in Christian values in society (prayer in school campaigns, anti-abortion policies, and the banning of gay marriage), all of which nullify the freedom of choosing the opposite of any of those. I love freedom, freedom being the ability to choose what actions you will take in life, which is exactly what conservatives have been taking away. Democracy is rule by the people, yet the current conservatives have ridiculed and attacked anyone who disagrees with their viewpoint.

Actually liberals don't do a lot of hating--it's against liberal values. George Bush and those who support him though come about as close as anyone or anything liberals hate. And with good reason--Is the world messed up? Is there more terrorism in the world? Are people suffering and dying? George and his lapdog lackeys in flyover country did it! Time for a left turn.

Freedom is the ability to speak freely. Anytime someone disagrees with a republican people like you shout them down. Freedom, which is in the constitution, would also be considered the "SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE". Who has been stating gays should not marry because it is sin and against the bible's teachings? Who attempted to make it a constitutional amendment on that? bush. Before you write questions like that, you should start looking in the republican mirror first.

You're funny. Liberal means "free." I am a Deomcrat and a Liberal and we are the educated elite who beleive in sharing wealth between the classes. We beleive in helping American citizens first. Also, we are the guardians and protectors of this Country. I went to fight in Iraq because I am a vital part of our Nation's defense, even if I don't agree with policies; my heart and soul is mine, but my body is America's. "Conservatives" are xenophobic and racist citizens who beleive it is Christian (even though our Bible argues otherwise) to hate and kill others. They don't want to consider the results of that hate because it is not them fighting. It is me, it is mostly Democrats, and it is all Americans that are in harms way.
