what do you mean 'should be'? that is the motto of the american justice system. just look at drug offenders. rich people go to rehab. poor people go to jail.

If you are rich. You get better counsel.
Look at OJ. He was guilty, everyone knows it.
Another black... or quite frankly, white man would have gone to death row.
But in reality it is the juries fault for letting rich people out of their responsibilities... not the American legal system.

You are absolutely right, but this does not apply only for the US but for the whole world! The rich go free and the poor go on death row!
And, jistaguy58, the jury IS part of our legal system!
