They get offended by things, but yet they offend other people by saying stuff. This one girl keeps calling me a redneck just because she missunderstood one of my questions. Why are people like that?

I ask that question myself. (not on here) But I wonder too. I think all this yahoo answers stuff should just all be in fun anyway.

People are sensitive to things people say on this site because they offend them. I have heard people call people *******, fat **** people, ugly people shouldn't be born and the list just goes on. If you had read that there are people in the world that absolutely detest you because the colour of your skin or the way you look or even because you come from a certain country, it would get to you too. People should think about what they are going to write before they offend someone or they will get an abused.

JUST KIDDING! I think its because everyone misunderstands things and has different circumstances. I may be easily offended because of my personal circumstances and because I truly don't understand yours. It mostly comes down to what you've been taught is offensive and your own experience in life.

Don't forget there are fairly young people and very religious people here - they feel threatened by things they don't understand.
