cuz they're usually crazy (but harmless crazy) and drunk. they have some good stories too, and as for the cracked out advice, i think they mean well, but their version of reality is just a little off from most of ours!

I think you are probably still in elementary school and have the chance to learn that hobos were a group of people who rode the boxcars decades ago. There may be some hobos still around but you are probably talking about homeless people that you meet on the street.
Some of the best people I have ever met have ended up on the streets. You shouldn't be surprised to find out they are just folks like everyone else.

Actually, you say "Fun" do to your age, but you really mean intreaging. If you enjoy it that means that you are pretty smart. You enjoy learning from all aspects and walks of life from different people. Keep learning, I did the same thing.

I don't know. I prefer talking to people who are very old and still have their memory. You learn things from them that you will not find in history books.

They are typically colorful folks with lots of life experience (most of it BAD) to share so that others can learn from their mistakes. Plus its cool that most of them can drink a fifth of thunderbird for breakfast.
