if you got caught on tv for slapping a dog after it bit you on the neck?

Depends why it bit you on the neck. IF it bit you to protect its owner/master, then yes it is right and just that you get arrested. If the dog bit you for no reason at all then I'd say no it most likely is not fair.

It is unfair to be arrested for slapping a dog after it bit you anywhere, not just your neck. I think some of the answers on here are treating pets like children. When a dog does something wrong a light slap teaches it that what it did was wrong. A treat after it does something good trains it as well.

Human life is more important than that of animals 100%..
However... if you did something to piss the dog off. Or you are being mean or teaching the dog to mean.. I have no pitty for ya..
And YA those Animal cops are psycho for animals... Someone must remind them that they are of the human race not canine or feline...

why on earth would you slap a dog after it bit you??? that's just provoking the dog! if you ever get bit, you should act like the submissive one and leave the dog alone, and he'll do the same for you!

you need to go into better detial.
NO, its not ok to beat a dog. slapping it hard is not ok either. i know that if my cat bites or tips over something, i tap her on the nose and say NO! she usually gets the point. but i dont ever hurt her.

yeah... honestly i do think it's fair... the person shouldn't have hit the animal regardless of what the animal did to provoke the person in the first place... cruelty to anima;s

Yes. you do not have to hit a dog even if it does bite you.
