Car & Driver seems to have the best combination of humor, expertise and Sensibility.
Road & Track focuses too much on track, and not enough on road.
Motor Trend thinks too much of themselves and their opinion. Their humor is lacking, and the rag has been trash since they moved the editorial offices to California in the 80's.
AUTOMOBILE is probably the best entertainment (focusing on stuff you probably wouldn't buy, but is interesting).

I read Car and Driver just for Brock Yates and the annual 1 Lap of America (the detuned version of the Cannonball Run).
