additional mathematics is really not that bad. believe me i was as daunted as you were when i started with a math; especially with topics like logarithms and a good portion of calculus.

but all you have to do is UNDERSTAND the concepts behind the topic and PRACTICE. there is no other way to study for this in my opinion. math is after all something that needs to be understood before you can start implementing what you've learnt.

also, if you notice, in a math all the sums are almost similar to one another. if you understand one and you know how to proceed and solve that question, you've basically understood most of em'. i find that this applies to most topics and it really helped prepare me for my O levels.

remember, UNDERSTAND and PRACTICE.

There is nothing like additional mathematics. It is only mathematics. Take in that spirit, you will find easy.

maybe this answer is quite common...
1) practice a lot
2) understand definition of terms
3) know how those theorems etc are derived

i believe this will help. good luck
