When someone dies, is that the end?

Is it the end? nothing left, no spirit?????

Im not really refering to any religon by asking this question, I hope i don't offend anyone.

Im not refering to any religon, I do belive in heaven and hell, Im not the one dieing, Im talking about some of my past family deaths...

No, i think they live on in your heart. I had someone pass that was dear to me and you know what I think their spirit is around me. Watching, protecting and guiding me. I don't think its the end though, you will always have memories, you will always think of that person and you can still love that person even though they are gone. Even certain smells,or when u feel something touching you and nothing there's it them telling you they are here.

It probably is actually...but I still like the idea of reincarnation...where our essence has a certain number of lessons it must learn before becoming part of a higher plane of existence...therefore it may take a number of lives to learn all the lessons (more for some than others)...

...or maybe we die adn that's the end. Does it really matter? Make the most of the life you have here, in case there isn't anything after.

no there is a spirit, it goes to heaven for those of us who believe in christianity they know that a person has a soul and eventualy god decides wether it goes to heaven or hell. but not either way it is only the end as in them living here on earth but spiritualy they aer there.

I believe in what the bible says about our souls going to heaven when our body dies. Or in some cases hell.

"for the living know that they shall die but the dead know not anything" when we die our breath goes back to God, but our bodies sleep in the grave until the second coming of Christ. we have no conscious thought or awareness. if we did no one would Rest in peace, we'd constantly be worried about what's going on with our living loved ones, and death would be more stressful than life.

think about this... if you could Watch your loved ones but couldn't save them from a stray bullet or car wouldn't you be stressed? everyone in heaven would be stressed over things they can't control, otherwise if they could when grandparents died wouldn't they save us from all upcoming heartache, like picking the wrong spouse, divorce, falling off our bikes, and going to hell because they can see what's in store? if they could wouldn't they be taking away our "free will" that God has given us to choose?? who would Jesus come back to resurrect? "and the dead in Christ, shall rise first.. then those who remain shall be caught up to meet Him in the air."

No it isn't the end. My husband has seen my dad and his dad that have passed. The soul goes on. I hope heaven is whatever we want it to be.

when somebody dies it's not the end it's just the begining now they get to live in heaven with jesus looking over the people they love.

no its not the end, your soul will go on in one of two places.. heaven, or hell. i plan to go to heaven, and i hope that you do to, cuz its going to be 100x better than the best thing in this world. :)
