During my pregnancies, I ate lots of fruit. It satisfied me, didn't give me nausea and is healthy. Good luck with the pregnancy.

ok....just do me a favor and don't eat all that fast food or fatty food that i did when i was pregnant. I ate soo much of carbs and crap that I wound up having gestational diabeties and with that I had to eat NOTHING.... NOW TRYING for our second pregnancy ...i will eat everything is moderation. I will do everythiing this time....hopefully better.
But I would suggest to you to eat carrots, brocooli, cauliflower,(raw) get some UNSALTED...tater chips...unsalted everything if you can. DON'T EAT RAW FISH...don't eat shelled fish, nor peanuts.
Hey here is an idea.... make yourself a fruit shake ..like bananas, oranges, apples and throw that in the blender....add some milk and you have a great shake.
eat lots of protein such as beans. Chicken is good too. If you have a george foreman grill you can do that and eat only grilled or broiled chicken with lots and lots of veggies. Try to stay away from carbs such as anything potato, rice and/or pasta...pretty much starch.
Wow....I think I am going to follow my own advice once I get pregnant again...hang in there...cause I know I will be coming back here for the same question. lol....It's always easier to give advice when you aren't in it at the moment isn't it...
Good LUck Babe!!! and Stay Strong!!! I hope you have a happy and wonderful healthy pregnancy!!! God Bless!!!

I know what you mean about being hungry all the time (I'm 11 1/2 weeks pregnant) I'm trying to eat healthier now because I want whats best for my baby and I don't want to get huge. What works for me is drinking lots of skim milk, and eating trail mix....you get your sweet & salty fix with that. Or make smoothies, take frozen yogurt and fruit and mix it up in a blender. I eat a lot of nuts, like cashews and almonds and try and stay away from chips. The nuts fill you up. Or eat veggies and dip or a bowl of healthy cereal (not the sugary kind) with cut up bananas is always filling. Or try cut up melon or strawberries and dip it in coolwhip...yum!

Lots of vegetables would be good. I was always hungry with every baby that I had (4). Thank God, I lost the weight all four times but I would suggest eating healthy like fruits, vegetables, fish and chicken. Stay away from the sodas and the starches and bad carbs, they will make you BLOW up. Congrats on your pregnancy!

hi,
listen to your body what is it craving? Generally in pregnancy your body will crave what it needs. If it craves bread- have bread, if it craves fish, have fish. If your body is craving unhealthy foods have a small amount occasionally and fill up on what you know is healthy - fruit, veg, lean meat and fish, wholegrains. Don't be too hard on yourself you don't have to be perfect. If you fancy pizza have it - just not every day! You can't diet in pregnancy so don't try and restrict yourself - eat til you're full and never go hungry but eat sensibly and get enough nutrients!

Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and drink a lot of milk I loved milk when I was pregnant for some reason it tastes really sweet. When I was pregnant with my son I had major cravings for kiwi fruit!
