Even if you're interviewing at Joe's House O' Denim, NEVER, EVER go to an interview in jeans! Keep your dress simple - a decent pair of dress pants or a skirt no more than 2" above the knee, a modest blouse, no camisoles or tank tops. "Neat" is the word you want to embody. You want to appear professional, every time, no matter what the position is. If you want the job you need to look like you're serious about it. My grandmother drilled that whole "You never get a second chance to make a first impression" thing into my head from childhood - and it's served me well. I have gotten offered every single job I've ever interviewed for. Good luck!!

YES! Go with khakis and a nice shirt or blouse (well not the blouse if you area guy). You may even want to dress up more than that, because while it is possible to overcome being overdressed for an interview it is not possible to overcome being underdressed.
The Petsmart staff are supposed to wear khakis and PetsMart golf shirts that are provided. This is even more important in their guest services department. The exception is in grooming, but even then the people all still where khakis.

It's typically considered correct to dress 1 level above the uniform you'll be wearing for an interview.
I work at Petsmart and I know the Hotel staff wear khaki-style jeans and polo shirts. For your interview I would suggest khaki slacks and a nice shirt, nothing fancy, but not a tank top or t-shirt.
Good luck!!

If you want to make a good impression don't go casual. No jeans, no shorts, and no t-shirts. The minimum would be a business casual look like a nice skirt and blouse. At least to the knee on the skirt and the blouse needs to have sleeves even if they are very short sleeves. Again no jeans means no blue jean skirts either. I wouldn't dress in business formal though, that is over doing it. It isn't necessary to wear a suit.

I think it is always better to go with a casual slack, like khakis or similar, or even a dress, just in case the interviewer is more conventional. In most cases jeans (that are not faded or holey etc.) are fine. But in just depends on the the person doing the interview. But if you wear a casual slack or dress you probably can't go wrong.
Good luck on your interview!

NO JEANS! Jeans are most likely not something they wear to work.
Wear a nice pair of khakis and a nice shirt.
You always want to over dress just a little. So, jeans would be a bad idea!

No matter what type of job it is, you should always dress in business attire for a interview. A nice skirt that comes down to your knees and a blouse will do the trick if you do not have a suit. You want your first impression to professional because you want the interviewer to know that you know how to be professional with customers.

yes, even though it is a laid back job you should still dress buisness casual, a nice shirt and a pair of knit pants, or dress slacks. not too much make up, perfume, jewlery. i took a class on interviews believe it or not and ever since i have done very well. dont fidget, ask questions and b polite to everyone you come in contact with even customers! you will do wonderfully good luck.

Jeans are always a bad idea on an interview. If you don't need/want to go suit go khaki with great clean shoes.
