Yes. I recently met a woman who got pregnant while on the Depo-Provera shot. As others have stated, the only 100% guarantee is abstinence.

yes and it can cause miscarriage i wouldnt take that shot for nothing it also messes with your hormones. Do you know if you decided to get preg again that you would have to wait 10 months to get it out of your system, even tho every few months like 3 or 4 you have to go back and get it. Miscarriage is one of the worse things in the world to exsprince..i also do not feel it is good for your body to not have a normal flow

The Depo-Provera (medroxyprogesterone acetate injectable suspension, USP) also known as "the shot",Contraceptive Injection lasts for 13 weeks, and is highly effective at preventing pregnancy with a failure rate of less than 1%.

No form of birth control is 100%. There is always a chance for pregnancy no matter what method you're on. It's unlikely, but it can still happen.

I know 2 people who got pregnant on the shot. And they may say "0.001%" but I don't know 20000 (or should there be one more zero? I think there should. Oh well.) people so in my experience it is higher. People have different body chemistries, be aware that there are people for who no hormonal BC works.

I heard the photos are rather undesirable for you. yet another decision is the 'start administration patch'. You positioned on a patch for one week and then replace the patch. You try this each and every week on the comparable day for 3 weeks. on the fourth week you do no longer positioned on one and you get your era in the process that 4th week.

Of course you can STILL get pregnant on BC. I know two guys that got their wives pregnant after a VASECTOMY!! Nothing is 100% reliable unless you are not doing "it".
