why so much anger?

all right,some of my questions are tinged with my socialist leaning philosophy but instead of answering with some intelligent response,so many spout angry conservative politics. i just want some intelligent answers which i know is hard to come by from the right.

When people do not understand the issues and the facts they can only resort to childish name calling. This usually comes from the conservative side, because they are, by nature, the kind of people who are blind followers - the kind who do not think for themselves. They don't even pay attention to the important issues, they are too busy focusing on attacking the people that do not agree with what they've been told to believe.

You have to just chalk it up to ignorance, feel pity for them, and wait for someone with some intelligence and understanding to post an answer (I know..it's hard to come by).

If they were smart, they would know that you don't get someone to understand your point of view by spewing ignorant hatred and saying things that attack the person instead of addressing the issue. You get people to understand your point of view by presenting it intelligently and thoughtfully.

I'm sure there are some on the left who do the same thing, but most of the time I notice that they are reacting to an attack - not usually provoking one.

People's emotions get the better of them, and they stoop to the level of the immature attacker. Which is why people attack in the first place. If they can get you to lose sight of the issue, then they don't have to back up their ideas with intelligence.

The core of conservative thinking is to protect the father figure or leader regardless of ones actions. If conservatives and some liberals don`t have or have been overwhelmed with evidence the only other way to win is to attack which is the conservatives weapon even if they call liberals NEGATIVE, the word that is being used by organized religion around the country. Liberals are less likely to attack but to use evidence. Once you understand that the conservatives rely on a father figure and liberals view as all of us one it will ring a bell.

The answer to this question is not a simple, "Do for others as you would want done for yourself." The answer to your question is, people are not perfect, emotionless beings who all have the same viewpoint. Many people do not think before they speak, but I would say 90% of these "angry, unintelligent" answers you speak of are from people who do not know the facts themselves. Naive is the word that comes to mind.

Because generally, people are stupid. If you go beyond the "rulz" / "sux," you are expecting too much. I went back and checked your questions... some of them are similar to my own... Like Saddam... he did not break any laws for his country in his actions. The people he killed were committing treason, attempted assassination, etc. Even though we don't punish people as harshly here, aren't those capital crimes?

LOL, see, they have trouble with anyone who "disagrees" with them. Its really sad, in't it, while America was built on the basis of "agree to disagree" and yet anyone who does is told by the "right" its "America, love it or leave it" like we don't love it! Of course we do, that's WHY we feel as we do. And we have as MUCH right to stay here as they do!
