NOTHING!!!! That is satan's plan, and the government will surely go along with it.Let's just pray to GOD that the descent God fearing people will stand up and do everything in our power to keep this from happening.Besides one has to be brainwashed to go for that polygamy, mutigamy crap, women are far too jealous to go for that.If by some chance it does happen, there will undoubtly be more murders committed(by women) and that too is part of satan's plan.To KILL,STEAL,and DESTROY any and everything he can.The sanctity of marriage included.

First of all, there are laws specifically prohibiting the things you mention (i.e polygyny, polyandry, marrying the dead...) Same sex unions are not prohibited, they are just not recognized as being valid from a legal stand point.
I have looked at the issue of same-sex marriage from a civic, secular point of view, and there is no secular or rational reason to deny same-sex couples the legal benefits and protections of marriage. If a government is going to extend legal protections to couples wishing to formalize their relationship, then it should extend those protections to all couples. To do otherwise is discrimination, plain and simple.
When people talk about gay marriage, they miss the point. This isn't about 'gay' marriage. It's about family. It's about love. It is also about legal recognition and benefits.
ALL marriages are civil unions from the standpoint of the law. Marriage licenses are issued by the government, not the church. Even church officials have to be licensed by the government to legally conduct a marriage ceremony. It isn't about religion. It's about civil marriage licenses. Churches can and should have the right to say no to marriage for gays within their congregations, just as Catholics say no to divorce, but divorce is still a civil option.
The Constitution is still the supreme law of this land, and the real question concerning same-sex unions should not be “should it be allowed”, but rather, what is the proper vehicle in a civic society to allow same-sex couples the same amount of participation and protection in that society. Same-sex couples deserve the same legal benefits and protections, as well as the basic human dignity and acceptance that those protections and benefits convey, that heterosexual couples are given as an unquestioned, unconditional right.

There's a big difference between marrying one person than a whole bus load of them. (Though you're forgetting that once it was legal in certain ancient Arabic countries with harems) It shouldn't matter if someone marries someone from the same gender, it's a form of discrimination nonetheless.
And if I hear the excuse that gay marriage would dissolve the formal union, I might explode with rage. Marriage is about as unsacred as it can get, there's rampant divorce and cheating among other things. Of all the marriages I've seen dissolve, none of them ever blamed gay-marriage for their divorce.

The blindness of man will permit any type of abomination. The darkness will sanction ANY type of union. Marriage is the union of a man and woman and it is the ONLY union that is right in the eyes of God. Nuff said!!!

Nothing is going to stop it.. but there really shouldn't be such a problem with any of that.... as long as you aren't a part of any of that why should you care?.. why can't you just let people be happy with whatever their life style might be... That's just being narrow minded... just because something isn't for you doesn't mean it can't be for someone else

That's a ridiculous suggestion.
A marriage is between two people. That's it. Sex doesn't matter.

There is nothing wrong with TWO people being married to each other. Polygamy is illegal, being homosexual is not.

Eventually marriage will mean nothing. Be it with a heterosexual couple or a gay couple or a polygamous union. >:/
