I doubt that there are really any good herbal alternatives for children. In fact I'll bet a lot of children were the product of the use of herbs. Are there any herbal alternatives for people who shamelessly hawk their products on Yahoo Answers?

We use homeopathic remedies as a first defense, resorting to allopathic methods only in extreme situations. I had a very difficult time navigating through information about herbs for medicinal uses that I found on the internet; I found most information to be not very well written or to be so anti-allopathy that it turned me off. Much of my knowledge comes from a friend who is a homeopathic practicioner; she has by far been a great source of information for me.
