I was due for my period on July 30th, which to my surprise was a darker discharge, brownish that was very little and lasted a few days. I had no period after that either. I just started a new birthcontrol pill, so im thinking that has something to do with it. I've been having sex without condoms and just relying on my pills. Ive been sleepy more than usual lately, and noticed a thicker white discharge now. Ive taken preg. tests twice and they have been negetive. I took one when I was spotting, and the end of last week. Does it take a few weeks for preg. symptoms if i really am pregnant? Should I wait and take the test again later? Or is all this completely normal or all in my head? Please respond!!

I would wait a few days see how you feel.. If you have breast tenderness and nausea I would test in a week. Most likely you are just adjusting to the pill. I would just see how it goes and trust your instincts. If all else fails take an EPT. Good Luck :)

It sounds like you may have a yeast infection or something, but you need to check in with a doctor to find out what's going on. I doubt that you are pregnant since the tests are very accurate these days.
Have you had any medications or other types of drugs recently? Some can slow or stop your menstruation. Also, if you even had dental work, it is possible to be late.
Maybe you will enjoy this story. My best friend didn't have her period (we were in our teens at the time) and she did have a boyfriend with whom she had had intercourse a couple of times. She made the fateful decision to tell her parents. Well, it turned out to be a drug they had given her to stop her from bleeding too much when she had minor surgery!!! Her parents put her on permanent punishment and wouldn't allow her to go anywhere until she graduated from High School. She was a junior when this happened so she spent two years at home with her strict parents for two years!!
So don't panic yet. See a doctor.
One more thing. Never have sex without using a condom! STDs are florishing out there and its no joke. Pills will not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases and even if your honey swears he never had sex before, get checked and then use condoms from now on.
Good luck.

Stop having sex, at least vaginal sex, until all this is resolved and settled. Better safe than sorry.
If you get pregnant and hate the thought of having a child and contemplating abortion, then there are some things to consider. You don't want any bad karma. Need I say more?
If you relationship is depending on sex, then how much real love is there? Sex causes the brain to produce endorphins creating a euphoric high just like cocaine or opium. That must be why so many are addicted to sex.

Pregnancy tests do not show positive right away. You should take another in a week or two. But , it could be that your body is not adjusted to the new birth control pill. That could have this type of effect on you. Any time you switch bc pills- be sure to use condoms just to be safe.

Birth control pills can make you feel like you are pregnant since they trick your body into thinking you are. If you have missed your period there should be enough HCG in your urine to tell you if you are pregnant or not. First response can detect the preganancy hormone in 93% of women the day before their missed period. If you have taken two tests and both are negative and you still think you are pregnant I would go see a doctor.

You may be pregnant and I just recently found out that it can take up to 3 months for your pill to actually work so you could be pregnant I would wait for a few weeks and then take another test to make sure that you aren't or go to planned parenthood in a few weeks. In a few weeks you will know for sure.

It sounds like it could be your new pill, because it takes awhile for your body to get used to a new medication. But I would go to the doctor for a preg test to be safe, their's are error proof.

If you are unsure...take another. It wont hurt anything. I'm 18 and I just had my first baby and in the first couple of weeks I KNEW I was pregnant before taking the test. Your breast are very sore, you sleep a lot, your head hurts and you just feel lousy.
