I can't find anyone to do alterations on a dress I bought. Do you know of anyone in Rockland County, NY?

Call the local dry cleaners, they always know a seamstress, they are liable if they tear someone's prized dress or suit!

You may want to check the Professional Association of Custom Clothiers (PACC) http://www.paccprofessionals.org/ I don't think every seamstress in the country is listed, but there are quite a few from New York. I hope this helps.
