Is the south still racist? Please share your true stories?

Let me inform you of something that you obviously don't know. There are actually more race related crimes in the north and on the west coast. The membership of the KKK in the north is growing, because of the infusion of more money than the south has.

I was in Chicago in 2000; I was in a local CVS drug store. The night manager told a clerk to keep an eye on a black man who was in the store. When I left, I went to McDonald's to have a cup of coffee. I saw the same black man. I could hear him talking to a female. The black man was a minister at a local church.

But the fact is, racism is everywhere in the world. What people say is never what is in their hearts.

Racism is not just confined to the south. It seems to be everywhere including in our institutions of higher learning where there should be better enlightenment. It is improved over the years prior to the Equal Rights Ammendment. I went to a segregated school in Florida. Arriving there from Pennsylvania in 1960 I went to school for a while before I noticed some people were going to some other school. that was when the stores in West Palm Beach had 2 water fountains labeled "white" and "Colored". The bathrooms were labeled "Men", "Women" and "Colored".Black people had to sit behind the white line at the back of the cross town bus. I felt that to be offensive and abusive to others of God's children. Now it comes up in other ways all over but maybe not so obvious. But yes it is still everywhere. There also has become a great deal of reverse discrimination. It is a sad problems for humans.

I live in the south and racist are still everywhere. Whites and Blacks! What aggravates me is that the blacks have their special clubs i.e.... The Black Nurses Society, the Black Lawyers Society, Miss Black State, etc. etc.
I read in the newspaper where the "State Black Catholics" were having their convention. Can you just imagine what would happen if that had said "State White Catholics"!!! NAACP would be down our throats in a NY minute.

A black woman I worked with once, and I have worked with some wonderful black people, told me that NAACP stood for.... and I quote a black woman.... ******* ain't acting like colored people. They have their prejudices against each other just like all races do.

I don't come from Alabama with a banjo on my knee, but I lived in Louisiana for a time, and yes the people that I worked with were racist--BOTH sides!!

I still say that it is a matter of CLASS not RACE!!

The higher classes of people - BOTH sides - are NOT racist. Check it out. It is always the uneducated poor populations that get involved in racial slurring, etc.

nicely....the regulation calls it incest. Your genetic makeup is so close , you're able to probability having a baby/little ones with abnormalities. you're able to go by ability of hell with any friend or acquaintances. keep in recommendations you want kinfolk and acquaintances. Love between spouses is a distinct style of love than a brother and sister. that's not unavoidably superior as examine out what number divorces there are. Incest is inaccurate in society, our custom and in God's eyes. allow you to 2 be suited acquaintances and leave nicely adequate on my own. do not bypass that line.

Well I sure hope so, or I'm moving elsewhere. Aaahhhh. There's racists all over the world, from all nationalities, so, at least we're just honest about it. The rest of you are just trying like hell to be "politically correct", another word for being two-faced liars. God Bless you.
