My opinion? "Do you wanna make love" By Peter McCann
Peter McCann was a singer and songwriter from Connecticut, though he currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. He wrote the song "Right Time of the Night", which was a top ten hit for Jennifer Warnes in 1977. Later that year, he had a top ten hit of his own with a song called "Do You Wanna Make Love?"

I'd say My Sharona, but the Knack had other good songs. Most people never heard them though. That would have to be the best.
