Well to start off with, there would be millions of people still alive today, but that isn't something that is specific to only Islam.
The really interesting thing is that if you want to just compare and contrast Christianity for Islam on a few key points, you can see massive differences on a huge scale. Mohammed was born in 570AD and died in 632AD. Just before his birth, what is now present day Europe was basically run by pagan barbaric tribes like the Visigoths, Huns, Angles, Jutes, and Saxons. They had sacked Rome and were now fighting amongst themselves for the most part. Meanwhile at this same time in history, the middle east, which is the Persian Empire, to include Babylon in present day Iraq and Saudi Arabia is flourishing. Persian/Arab architecture
and mathematics are some of the most advanced and cutting edge in the world. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon are one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The Code of Hammurabi (a code of laws) and advanced systems of government have been in place for centuries. The Persian/Arab culture is one of the most advanced in the world.
AFTER Islam is founded and starts to get hold in the middle east and Christianity begins to spread at the same time in Europe, the complete OPPOSITE happens. Middle Eastern culture falls apart, and advancement stops. And finally stagnates.
1300 years later, Christian countries are the most prosperous, advanced, and wealthy in the world. Muslim countries are among the poorest, worst educated, and technologically backward. The majority of their poulace of these countries are hearding sheep and living in mud brick huts. Women's rights are suppressed and brutality is the norm.
Now, is it just a coincidence that all these things began to change at the EXACT time that Islam took hold in the Middle East and Chritianity was introduced in Europe? I think not.
Bottom line is that if Islam was not introduced in the world...many millions would be living a much better life.

Alright you believe that an individual's religion is responsible for their actions, fine. Using that logic, Christianity is responsible for more deaths than any other religion in the history of the world. To name a few shining examples, the crusades killed thousands of people in the name of what? Reclaiming (stealing) land and relics which had been protected and preserved by Muslims, Christians and Jews living peacefully in the holy lands for centuries. On top of that there is a little event known as the Spanish Inquisition. Many people were tortured and killed, and was probably one of the most destructive forms of terrorism in human history. Major scientific advances and free speech were silenced because they interfered with christian doctrine. You say there is nothing new created in the Koran, indicating you know very little about it. The Koran has material never presented in the Bible. Not to mention the very word Islam means peace. Because groups of Christians committed horrible atrocities, is all of Christianity to blame? No, and neither are the vast majority of Muslims responsible for the violence of a few.

wat if christianity was not founded? or judaism? that'd be great. there'd be all muslims n no bitc*** fuc**** around with a$$holes, no more bastards, no more nudity, no more terrorism cuz other religions r always trying to kill muslims just becuz they r muslim.
wudnt it be gr8? i think so :)
n islam doesnt copy anything, islam clarifies the mistakes in other religions. u ppl started calling jesus son of God thats y God sent Mohammed (PBUH) to clarify that jesus is not son of God but a prophet. islam teaches much more than ur religion does, it proves many of the scientific theories. none of ur religions had anything that explained how sperm turns into a human being or how there are micro-organisms that naked eye cant see.
learn n think before u say sh** abt others. n try to walk in other ppl's shoes n see how it feels. may be then a bastard like u wud understand.

Sorry to burst your bubble but every modern religion is a collection of those before, just look at Christian Hell.

A better world would be one with no religion, so that everyone is accountable for their actions and actually have the strength to believe in themselves for a change.

terrorism is often committed in christ's name...

how would not founding islam have left the world with one religion? i agree that the quoran contains stories from jews and christians mohammed met, just as the bible contains myths common to sumeria, and says things a lot like greek myths sometmes... however, there were many religions before judaism. that was one of the points of judaism - suppressing the other religions.

there's really nothing that new in any religion, they're all based on the same ideas, good vs evil, etc. Islam didn't create terrorism, that is pure ignorance. I just can't believe all the people on here saying the same nonsense.

The Arabs would still be around, they would just have different gods, but a lot of things would be the same, and there would still be fighting in the Middle East-Sorry, but that is the truth.

There are Muslims that live in peace, but I assume you are talking about the stuff you see on TV.

the way i see it... christianity had the crusades 600 years ago, and islam is 600 years younger than christianity.

they'll get over it. they're also pissed because europe has been screwing with africa for centuries, and most recently england carved up the middle east and shoehorned israel in. regardless of their protestations. i'm not saying that was wrong or anything, but i can sure understand why they'd be pissed.
