I remember, I believe it was the Outer Limits had an eposide where a man gambled his finger on a bet to a supposed millionaire. He lost the bet but was save by the timely arrival of a guy who identified the "millionaire" as a wack job who didn't have a dime and just got his jollys off such sick wagers.
