Pencil. You can do more things, like smudge it, keep it "clean and classic", make it smoky.. and all that.

If you're a beginner with eyeliner use pencil. Liquid tends to get messy and requires more precision and expertise than pencil. Avoid lining the inner rim of the eye as this could lead to infection. Line along the lashes. With practice you get better.

Pencil for everyday, liquid when ur dressing up bc its more dramatic!!
Most people think liquid is REALLY messy, but u jsut need to know how to do it. Felt tip liners work best (I use Merle Norman Liquid liner). After applying your liquid line, go over it w/a pencil that is a similar shade.. then smudge.. It gives u that dramatic, smoky look the is SUPER sexy!!
Hope I helped!!

I like liquid because it goes around my eyelashes better. But i believe it is a personal preferance. And it depends on the person. Some women look good with pencil, and others with liquid. good luck!

Pencil eyeliner is far easier to use and less prone to spills and runs.
I love Covergirl's "Perfect Blend" eyeliner pencils, they are so smooth; they glide on like silk. As an added bonus, each one has a little smudger built in on the end! Here's a link to the CG website: http://www.covergirl.com/cgcollection/eyes/pencils/problend1.jhtml :~)

Love the liquid. If you are a newbie at this they make pencil shaped applicators.

This is just my opinion, but you have God-given natural good looks and I would love to gather up whatever liquids or pencil eyeliners you have and march them to the wastebasket out in the kitchen. You are one of those fortunate loving souls who, the less makeup she uses, the better she looks. But I am just a man who likes women to be as natural as they possibly can in every way they possibly can. Diane once said to me she felt women should be able to go topless and I said yes. If they would like to, yes. If they would like their hair naturally long and smooth they should be able to wear it that way. Women have enough on their minds these days to contend with without having to constantly be jumping through hoops of fire to be any particular way or look a certain way to others. Your natural beauty shines forth with absolutely no makeup. Lucky you. If you can't resist using just a little makeup, then highlight your eyes just a little tiny bit, but never enough to call attention to itself. Your makeup cost for the whole year shouldn't be more than fifteen American dollars. Sent to you with good energies and the strong encouragement to stay completely natural and be yourself, I am Chris, in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old.)
