how I can change my e-mail with out erasing all of my saved adresses (so that I can send them to my friends), and just be able to have the same yahoo account! I have already tried updating my yahoo account and it doesn't seem to let me change my e-mail! I want to change my e-mail from freshmanabby@yahoo.com to juniorabby@yahoo.com or something even totally different! Can someone please help me! Thanks!

Go to your address book in Yahoo Mail, then click "Import/Export" in the upper right.
Export the contacts in any file type available, then on your new account, do the same thing, but instead of clicking a button to export it, Follow the instructions under "Import"

This can't be done. Yahoo id is your email address. What you can do is create a new account in yahoo with the email address you want. Go back to the old email address, click address book and then click import/export. In the export section click the yahoo csv type. All you addresses will be exported.
In the your new account import them using the same method as above. Then your address will be same in both places.

Depends on your service provider. There's two ways:
1) IF you have a setting on your computer that remembers the address as you type (ie: your friend's name is "John"...when you type "J" into the to area the computer pulls up all the J contacts). then it will still be in the memory of your PC when you switch emails.
2) Or you can copy and paste them all into the body of an email...send to your new address and then copy and paste them into the new address book.
I think that's the only ways to do it.

first of all, dont make your email address something that is time sensitive. Because you would have to make a new account. Just make it generc....so much easier.

export your contact list in to any type of form. and then go into your new e-mail and inport them cooseing that file that you just exported.
