I don't understand what you mean by 'original version'. If you mean a historical set, then, good luck. Not many people are sure about the origins of chess and what the board looked like and how the pieces moved. If you mean a new set of chess that is... well... not themed, then most mega-marts, toy stores... just about everywhere... should carry it. If you mean on your computer, I would suggest the Jose chess game/database/engines available at http://jose-chess.sourceforge.net/
