Jewish people were nomads who lived in Egypt . They were persecuted by Pharoas(Kings).Moses came to rescue them. God promised them a Land to settle down and unfortunately that was the present day Israel , which was on the bank of River Jordan. That was the most fertile land that day compared to the other Arabian Deserts. According to Bible history , they crossed reiver Jordan , fought the philistians(Palestinians) and secured the land. So definitely it was inhabitied by palestinians. But the jews claim that its a God promised land. Now it has become a disputed land becuase it is important both to Jews and Muslims religiously.

The land belongs to the Jews. In 5000 BC or there abouts they left Egypt and were promised Isreal by God. The whole Old Testement, which dates to that time period tells the history of how the Jews wiped out the people that lived there beforehand. The Islam religion started in 570 by mohammed, way way way way after the Jews took over Israel. The Koran is a rewrite of true history that is verifiable by archealogical artifacts and carbon dated jewish documents.

What matters is not what happened 5000 years ago, or even 500 years ago. Arabs were living on that land just recently, and were kicked out by Israelis. It's ridiculous to justify a land grab based on what was written in some religious book. If the Koran said the whole world should be under Arabs' control, does it make it ok for them to invade everybody else's land? Of couse not! If you think it's ok for Jews to take Arabs' land because it was their land originally, then you are also saying that America should be returned to the Indians.... Good luck with that kind of logic! You won't convince anybody except yourself.

well, i live in california. does that mean i should give my house to a sioux?

i don't know why israel can't recognize palestine as it's teeny tiny little self. i think that would actually go a long way at this point, considering how much blood has been spilled. i don't think israel needs to move or even give up any land necessarily, but she could stop kicking the bejesus out of lebanon for a second.

"OK once and for all who lived in Israel first?"
prehistoric guys
"Who does the land belong to.? "
Arabs. It doesnt matter who was lived there first. They are the last who legally lived there. Israel foundation in 1948 was illegal, so Arabs are still the legal owners
