The KEY to handling this problem is to understand something called the Order of Operations.

This tells us the order in which various mathematical processes are to be done.

The order is as follows:

1) Whatever is in parentheses,
2) Exponents,
3) Multiplication and Division,
4) Addition and Subtraction.

So with (5X3)+7-(9/3), you would first multiply 5 by 3 to give you 15, and divide 9 by 3, which gives you 3. Then you'd take the 15, add 7 to it giving you 22, and then subtracting 3, which gives you 19 as your final answer.
