Here's the best drawing I could find of the female organs to show you. It also has the male organs, so you have to scroll down for the female ones.
In the middle of the picture, you can see the uterus colored red, and under that is the vaginal canal, labelled 'vagina'. You can see the cervix at the bottom of the uterus and the top of the vagina, because that is where the opening of the uterus is. A hysterectomy removes the uterus, and maybe the fallopian tubes, and maybe the ovaries, probably the cervix too. The doctor then sews up the top of the vagina so there won't be just a hole there. During sex the penis is inserted into the vagina, but stops at the cervix. So the vaginal canal is still there, and the penis goes in just like always. The semen goes into the vaginal canal and then just drips back out.

To answer your question, YES, women CAN have sex after a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus and usually the ovaries as well)
The semen goes its usual course, but since there is nolonger a uterus, there is no worry about an unwanted preganancy.
My mother had female problems and ended up having to have this done. She functioned just fine afterwards.

Yes women can have sex after removing the uterus. Remember only the sperm allows for pregnancy. The bulk of the liquid is prostatic fluid. With or without the uterus the prostatic fluid and remaining sperm eventually will find its way out the way they came in.

I had a hysterectomy at age 25 and my sex life has been wonderful for many years. The uterus has nothing to do with intercourse being pleasurable. The semen goes anywhere it wants to go; mostly expelled by your body and some absorbed into your body with no side affects.

Yes they can have sex after a hystorectomy. The end of the cervex has been sewed shut and the semen does not go any where but back the way it came in...

There is still a little pouch after the uterus is removed. Yes, you can still have sex, at least that's what my mom is doing! You still need to have a PAP smear done too to continue to check that pouch for cancerous cells.

Yes you can there not removing your vaginal canal. I assume they probably remove your cervix too and then sew it shut there. The semen will do the same thing it normally does when you have sex, it normally drips out or gets absorbed.
