House of the Scorpion by Nancy was a real good book with a lousy ending. And there was Shadowmancer and Wormwood by G.P. Taylors whose endings were bad, incomplete, inpausible. And To Wake the Dead by Richard Laymon had a lousy ending for an equally lousy book. With House of the Scorpion, I would have liked more closure, a conclusion that wrapped everything up. The book left the characters on an uncertain road. With Shadowmancer and Wormwood, I wish the author would have slowed down and brought the ending to a more staifactory ending. And To Wake the Dead, couldn't be saved either way. I wish these authors would take a little more consideration on their endings. Readers need closure and walk away disappointed when we don't get it.

After reading the book Hannibal by Thomas Harris, I was extremely disappointed that they chose to completely change the ending and a lot of events prior to the ending.
