Cut off a broomhandle to about your bat size. Have Dad or a buddy throw normal size (not mini) marshmallows to you.
This focuses your batting eye. Once you are able to hit the marshmallows regularly the baseball looks about the size of a soccerball.
Make sure you aren't pulling your head off of the ball.
If you open your stance, you will see the ball better. See the ball hit the ball. (Just turn your toe towards the pitcher a bit)
When you are swinging, your head should stay parallel to your shoulders and barely moves. It doesn slide forward or dip backwards. And keep the back elbow up.
Without seeing your swing I can only give you basic advice. Good Luck and just enjoy playing a wonderful game!

im not that familiar with baseball, but im a fastpitch player and theyre pretty much the same thing.. i went to a fastpitch camp this summer, heres what they said on how to hit better...

(1) make sure you have wide stance, with your toes pointed in
(2) your arms need to be in the shape of a V and U, make sure you relax your bak elbow, and dont point it up, point it down.
(3) when the ball is first released from the pitchers hand, take a small step and roll your shoulder in a little bit.
(4) pivit your bak foot, which should, as you swing end up pointing toward the inside of your front foot, which should be pointing toward first base, (unless your a lefty)
(5) make sure you have a good extension when you swing
(6) always follow through above your shoulder.
(7) end with your front leg straight, and your bak leg bent, looking down at your contact point (home plate)

But my coach did say that there are millions of ways to hit, and this is just one. so try it, it may be different for baseball tho, but i hope i helped you...

You can keep your eyes on the ball that is coming toward you and then swing the bat toward it. Then you should be able to hit it. After you master that you can swing harder and start aiming the bat to where you want the ball to go. mmmk? lol

You first need to make sure you're swinging level and then watch the ball as soon as it leaves the glove all the way to when you make contact.

Just focus first on making better contact and not trying to kill it.
