People at my school are saying that Ciara used to be a guy, and got a sex change. I think it's just another rumor, if so why are people saying this? And how did it get started?

when people have nothin' better to do they spread rumours and make up stories about people they want to be and the rumours started out by a joke mariah carey said during an off stage interview with extra, she apologised and said it was somethin' she heard about it, i like mariah but after that i don't she can sing but she cannot move like ciara. and yes ciara can sing too and of course she better lookin' than m. carey...

Jealousy is the easiest answer. Also, she has a bangin' body that most women would kill to have. Remember, when she first came out, she dressed very street, almost manly, so she could do all of those dance moves. Kids can be very cruel when it comes to them being jealous of someone they secretly admire. When I was growing up, the rumor was that Prince was gay. And I think he's more than proven that to be a lie!
