It's kinda werid but I use soap to shave. I'm gonna start to use shaving gel for shaving but otherwise I use soap for soaping! lol

Shaving gel!! Plain old soap is drying, and if you have sensitive skin, will only give you razor burn. You can use a moisturizing body wash in a pinch, but hair conditioner is better. Lotion is OK too but will clog the razor.

with out a question... definately gel.. soap doesn't give you a close enough shave and can really irritate your skin. But that's just my opinion. I use plain old men's shaving cream.

I use my boyfriend's shaving gel on my legs. They are so smooth afterwards. A good thing to do before you shave is allow you legs to soak in hot water for about 5 minutes. Your follicles are then opened up giving you a longer lasting and closer shave.

if u got hair where u do not want it shaving gel if u dirty take a shower ,bath whatever as long as u use soap

shaving cream or gel works better and if u want smooth legs i would use the cream or gel no soap cuz it makes ur legs feel hard and dry 4 sum reason??!!!

To shave my legs, I use the cheapest guy's shaving creme I can find (usually just under $1/can). Shaving cream for women is much more expensive, but the guy stuff is just as good and if it's made for his face, it certainly isn't going to be harsh on our legs!

if you have sensitive skin id use soap but i use hair conditioner cuz its easy to shave with and it leaves your skin feeling great. plus it smells good and thats a plus lol
