If you have been using any caffeine products,eliminate those for now.If you have a cat or dog,spend some time with them.Just rubbing them can lower your pressure.Rubbing alcohol can also raise your blood pressure,so stay away from that.Maybe recline and read a very funny book.Laughter is great medicine!

Well i had high bp during my pregnancy and what seemed to really help was lying down on my left side for short periods in the day. But if you have medication take it also i was afraid to take my medication(methyldopa) and developed preclampsia 2 days after giving birth and was hospitalized for 3 weeks. So please take your meds it really makes a difference,lying on your left side really helps also and it works wonders for the swelling.Good Luck ,you'll do just great .

I had pregnacy induced hypertension with all 3 pregnacies. The doctor took me off work and put me on bed rest. The only cure is delivery. But they won't induce you until about 38 weeks. So just know there is not much you can do. Watch for swelling in your extremities. Call doctor if your face and hads are swoolen. Could be a sign of pre eclampsia. Which leads to eclampsia..Which causes siezures. That never happened to me. Good luck any more questions email me.

Avoid sodium, elevate legs, bed rest and try laying on left side. Exercise is possible but exertion elevates pressure

it's not a good idea to exercise while at this point in pregnancy; but u should stay away from too much salt in your foods. do high blood pressure run in your family?

Try meditation, keep a calm and clear mind,
disregard anything that stresses or upsets you,
walk but not up hills or stairs. Beach is great.
Pregnancy yoga if you want to exercise.

take away from the salt , don't worry too much or let anybody get u mad or upset and get alot of rest and u should be fine
