No. I'm pretty much senseless so not much does make sense to me, especially something as large and mysterious as existence! :))

The fact that existence doesn't make sense to me doesn't necessarily strike me as a negative or depressing thing.

It doesn't make any sense but that doesn't even matter to me----there is great beauty in continually questioning and growing and never stopping the search. Not a frantic or fear driven search for words or theories that won't ultimately satisfy, but, it's just the joy of discovery n living this whole human adventure that makes it worthwhile.

Self-discovery: Bliss, Love, there seems to be no stopping point to the depth of existence and to the unraveling of the mystery of me and/or existence.
(even if it doesn't make any sense! lol)

great question.

It doesn't "make sense" since there is nothing I can point to that could reasonably explain it. When we're born existence apparently begins and when we die it apparently ends. I'm not claiming that this is true, just saying that from my experience that is about all I can reasonably say about it.
On the other hand, it does make sense, just by overwhelming evidence; the incredible universe for example. This points to something much larger and more permanent than I am. Since my experience is part of this system then in that way it makes some sense.
Good question!

somtimes. metaphysics.

It only makes sense to people and civilization because, if it didn't, our world would be too chaotic. Thinking about the possibility is too dangerous for the world, especially now. If one day, we decided that we all didn't exist, I don't think people would try as hard to get things done to continue to live, seeing as it would seem pointless.

Existence doesn't make sense, in the way that I have yet to figure out the meaning of life.

But it does make sense because-- it HAS to, in order for the world to function properly.

again, it'd be more helpful to research metaphysics though. is the chair you're sitting on really there? or a figment of your imagination?

LOL.

okay, hope this helps.

Wish I could grant you 10 pnts for good question !
Most of the time existence does not seem logical. So I am just going to 'observe' this thing called 'life' & try & ENJOY its simple pleasures ( like taking part in forums like this)
This stance comes after much questioning & agonising !
Have a nice day.

Yes, it makes sense to me because by existing I can have positive influence over other people's existence, and they unto others, and so for. All for an ultimate good.

the existence of certain things make sense... like computers and cars and religion, they were created because we needed them... but the existence of people, evil, evolution, trans fat... those things i will never understand...

Yeah things in existence are cool. I hate all things not in existence - every last one of them.

So yes it makes sense.

I think the purpose lies in discovering the meanings than questioning the validity of existence...

life is filled with so much meanings...how can it be senseless;)
