We always talk about axe murderers, but I don't think there really are that many. Anybody have any hard data on this?

Yes if you counted all the axes produced in the world and divided by the population of Brazil then subtracted all of the hatchets sold multiplied by the Jack knives and butcher knives you would come up with the correct number but paring it off to a rounded number with a pairing knife the answer is close to 0.00005% of the population of Brazil. ( about 15 people in the world )

Not many people know that Jesus was actually crucified on an axe. It may look like two old bits of wood, in the form of a cross, but it's really because Jesus was the first axe murderer. Er..., it says so somewehere in a book I read a few years ago, when I was drinking heavily.
