Ask your daughter if she likes him, and it seems like you trust your daughter a lot, and thats good, tell her that. Just tell her what you're thinking.

If your daughter practicing the kis with her friend bothers you.. maybe you should talk to your daughter about how kissing should be a special thing.. maybe she's just practicing the kiss because she's scared to do it in front of people... maybe you should have talked to your daughter about the intimacy of kissing before she was 13.. you know, girls are becoming sexually active at the age of 10 now.. maybe tell your daughter that a lot of older guys find that kissing is more intimate than any other kind of physical relationship... I have so many guy friends.. and they'll all say the same thing.. they will screw around with anyone, but to kiss someone they acutally have to really like them.. don't tell your daughter that though.. tell her that any kind of relationship should be special, and she shouldn't be kissing boys if she doesn't feel a certain way about them.. also make sure she knows that there is no rush to do anything.

Hi, Tell your daughter that you love and trust her. however as her Dad you can help her and you by setting foundries on what she can do. Then deside what you approve of. Share your concerns on how her kissing practice makes you feel. Take care not to be accusatory.Perhaps each can throw each other a kiss. This should bring some levity into the situation.

Good luck, keep it light

Every dads nightmare this, when their little girl starts growing up. Why not ask your daughter to invite the boy over to meet him. He might be a nice young guy(l mean if he is in to musicals how bad can he be). Tell your daughter you love her and trust her everyday.

well im not good at parenting cause im only 15 but coming from an childs view at 13 i was kissing so if you try to stop her that will make her want to do it more and more then kissing.....so sooner or later she will do it behind your back so sit her down and talk with her and tell her u want her to be open about these things with u .....u would rather her do it with u knowing then behind your back

Well, if it's part of the play then that's okay, but if a relationship forms than all you can do is sit back and let it happen. She's growing up and that's what's going to happen, wether you like it or not. You can be strict with her, but only to the point that seemingly suits you and her. Just be glad she's not gay. :-)

Its tottaly normal. im 12, and it is tottaly execptable to let your daughter kiss a guy thats her friend for a skit. once i was with my friends and we played spin the bottle and i had to kiss my friend, but he was fine with it becuse we were only friends and new thats what we would ever be. its even okay if she likes this guy, cuse shes a teenagers, and its okay to experament with boyfriends and kissing.

Well once the show has paessed this problem shall too have passes so be calm until then. It sounds like you get to monitor the rehearsals so continue to watch her and get used to it. brace your self for those teenage years.
