Heck yes, you can get away with peeing in the pool. I don't know why you would want to... but, yep! You can. I've been a lifeguard for 4 years, and I know for a fact that I have never been able to tell if kids have peed. I know they do it... but I just don't know who and where... lol!

There is no chemical to put in teh pool to detect urine, that is an urban legend. People will notice if they are close enogh to feel the warmth, other than that probably not. In public pools they probably put enough chlorine in the pool that there wouldn't be any realy danger, but c'mon thats gross. Pee in the ocean like all the fishes thats cool.

I can not believe some one would ask such a question. How old are you, and where do you live? I WANNA MAKE SURE that I don't frequent any pools that you may go to. Even my youngest at six, knows not to pee in the pool. Jeezzzzz

I've never peed in a pool, but I do own one. There is no special chemical that changes color to detect when someone pees. That's a myth!!

Don't know...I've never consciously tried (by this I mean I have never peed in a pool to the best of my knowledge outside of being at toddler in diapers)

AFAIK, the chemical in the pool that will show urine is a myth.
If someone is close by, it might get noticed because of how warm it is and also if it's been long since last time, the color might give you away.
But, it's much more hygienic not to.

You can get away with it, but I wouldn't recommend it. There's no such thing as a chemical which can detect urine; that's an urban legend. However, it is VERY unsanitary to pee in a pool. Use the restroom!

Unfortunately, yes. I hope that some day all pools (public and private) can add a chemical that shows the perpetrator.. I don't want to swim in their stuff!
