Hi, i live in the UK, and i saw a program about a zoo where they had endangered jumping rats... they are huge, and i was wandering if you could have one as a pet?.... i think they would be cool.
I used to have Degus, and i would also concider having two of those , if someone knows of good a supplier in UK?.

If someone can help me ,i dont want to pay an arm n leg for degus, as its a pet not an investment!
Im concerned that all Degus in UK are inbred's and so will have miss-aligned teeth etc.

If this jumping rat is an endangered animal, chances are you won't be able to get one as a pet. It's probably illegal. If it is legal, buying one will be really expensive.

I bought two Degu's from a fairly large pet shop and they were fine, sure they wouldn't mind you giving them a look over before you buy
