There is no decision here at all. Like some of the others have said. Alexander is a proven back with a decent line to run behind. We all know he is an important part of the seahawks offense and will put up the numbers to prove it. Bush on the other hand is unproven in the pro ranks and is not even the starter as of yet. There is still some question as to wether he will be able to sustain the grind of a full NFL season. SO in short do not make this trade.

I'll be a little nicer than some of the others, but my answer is the same.....No. Bush is better than a fifth rounder and will be productive. Alexander though is top three in all of football. Now if an owner would give you someone like Portis or Tiki Barber AND Reggie Bush that might be a move to consider.

What is no, Alex.
Unless you are in a keeper league, you shouldn't even contemplate it. It should have been an instant "Reject Trade" and a laugh at the owner that suggested it.
Think about it, why would you trade one of the top 3 RB's for a rookie that wont even be the starter as long as Deuce McAllister stays healthy. And there is NOOOO way the Saints trade Deuce as they just traded away their 3rd stringer in Michael Bennett to the Chiefs.
If it were a keeper league, I would still want more in return, but to make that trade absolutely throws this season away for the future. We still don't know how Bush will do as he has yet to play in the NFL. Ryan Leaf, Charles Rogers and to a certain extent Michael Vick have been flops in comparison to their talent levels.

NO! I would keep Shawn Alexander until Reggie Bush can prove that he will be a good running back.

HELL NO!!!! Are you out of your damn mind. There is no way in hell you make this trade. Don't even think about it. Reggie Bush is gonna have a solid year, but he's gonna lose carries to Deuce Mcallister. Alexander has been the BEST fantasy football player over the last 3 years.
HELL NO HELL NO HELL NO

This reminds me of a funny story.
The first year I played fantasy football, one of the other rookies showed up at the draft and picked in the first round a QB who wasn't even a starter. We all laughed at him and asked if he was sure, and he said he thought he'd become the starter and have a great year.
In round 2, he picked a TE! And that's not even the best part, the TE he picked was Mark Chmura...this was the year he didn't play because he went to JAIL the previous offseason.
After we all quit laughing, we asked to see the cheat sheet he was using. It was the power rankings for NFL BLITZ! Again, that's not the best part....it was from the PREVIOUS SEASON.
Anyway, your question made me think of that.
The answer is absolutely not, by the way.

hell no. bush might be good this year but hes not an established running back like Alexander. don't fall for this trick. Alexander is a guaranteed solid guy, you cant say that for any rookie, I'm sure bush will be good, but you have to go with experience over a rookie.

REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE This is a no-brainer especailly with deuce hurt. Reginald is going to get all the plays that he thrives with even mroe now. They will have him go out for passes, screens, and he will also run the ball a lot. It will be like he was back in USC again.

if you have to ask that question, you shpuldn't be playing fantasy sports.
Alexander - 2nd overall pick
Bush - 5th rounder at the earliest - doesn't even have a starting job
If this is a keeper league, it's a little different; but Bush still shouldn't be a first rounder as he's done exactly nothing yet and SA is the reigning MVP.
