and to the person who said rap is a fad, IT IS NO WAY A FAD, rap is a global phenomenon now, as rock was in the 60-80s. It is a totally new wave of music, that is here to stay. Go listen different rap artists, it is more that just b***** and ho*s.

Definetley rock. Rock has more variety (alternative, emo, screamo, hard, metal, soft, pop...) and was here waaaaaay before rap. Rap, for me, is just music for dancing, not anything that can inspire anything in you. The only occasionaly moving things in rap songs are the words, and usually they aren't even comprehensible. With rock, you get a whole feeling, and tons of emotion just from the instrumentation, let alone the words.

ROCK, Rap get BORING after a while because it has the same beat! I mean I do listen to both, though I usually listen to ROCK more than rap!
