I have everything done except for the "entertainment".I know he is only 12 months but he is very attentive and likes looking at things and dancing.I'm having his party at the park because the expected turn out is more than I'd care to stuff in my home.So I was hoping I could get some party ideas for a 12 month old birthday party.Answers from experience only please!

Well I just went to a party for a one year old and Iam about to have my sons first birthday also.
At the party I went to I got ideas like if its going to be a hot day get a kiddie blow up pool and fill it with water let them play in it.
Bring toys and let them play with the toys.
At the park make sure to have music let them play at the park. Run, Walk, Dance, Crawl. Bring balls kids love balls.
Good Luck.

Well you could rent a big bouncy tent or even pony rides. Another idea is to get someone who brings reptiles to show the children, he'd probably enjoy that. Seeing as you will be at a park, you may also just use the facilities there, I'm sure the kids can find hours of enjoyment there.

Well, I have a little 3 yr old and on her first b/d I figured she dosen't know what's going on anyway so I did not put much money into it at all. Just cake, ice cream and lot's of family who have children your baby's age or at least 4 years older. That way they can relate and have fun. You could probably get your baby one of those little riding bikes. My little girl loved hers. I tried connecting you your IM but I'm having issues with it. I just downloaded it. If it's hot out there, put on swim attire and put on the sprinklers or get one of them little pools. If it's not too hot, have her blow out her candles and let her see all of her gifts and call it a day till next year. Debbie

HIre a clown or get one of those miniature ponies and let the kids take turns riding it
