I love all the Star Wars so far and I can't wait until 7, 8, and 9 come to the big screen (if they ever will). So, two questions-- will they make 7,8, and 9?
And, do they remake 4,5,6 again before 7,8 and 9?

Lucas refuses to commit to the third trilogy. He knows there is one, but it will take time and a lot of money. He has the latter but questions the earlier. He wants to make stupid movies and spend time with his children. Unless he is willing to do a Lord of The Rings styled production or give the reigns over to someone else it is uncertain that there will ever be an end to this Saga. He has to show the balance in the force of the whole saga means nothing.

Question 1: There will be no 7, 8, and 9 coming to the theatres.
Question 2: In a way he has remade 4, 5, and 6 from its original version that is why the original and the remake of these movies will come back out in Sept.

Ok, clearly you don't know that much about the story. The story of Star Wars is now complete with Episodes 1-6. If you want more of the story, there are graphic novels taking the story further, but there will never ever be a 7-9.

There will be no 7,8 and 9. I think there is such a huge base of works already covering all of that, that Lucas decided not to do it. I remember hearing that some time ago.

I think 3 was meant to be the last made, and 6 the last in the series. I haven't heard any whispers of 7, 8, or 9, but I'll email you if I do!

George Lucas claims that the Star Wars movies are done with. There will be no more unless someone else buys the rights to them and makes them.

I thought they were supposed to, but I stopped hearing about that years ago. I think they flaked out after taking so long to go from #6 to #1.

I remember seeing Star Wars when it first opened in the theatres.

There will not be any more Star Wars movies (sob). There are so many books on the market. There WILL be a live action SW series (yea) in 2008. May the Force be with you.
