VHS is outdated now. They go for $1 -2. Hardcover books is in good condition could go for $1-3. Paper backs, $.25 to 50. Display them with a colorful or interesting cover showing if you have them in a box. People love to go digging around looking for a great find!

since VHS is becoming a thing of the past 1.00 seems fair

I was at a yard sale Friday and they were selling their book for .10 each no matter what condition they were in.

A dollar for VHS, if they aren't selling, make it 2 for a dollar. Books, about a 25 to 50 cents for paperbacks, 75 to maybe a dollar for hardcovers.

VHS Movies: Recent ones you can price for like $2, but expect to lower your price to maybe $1. Older ones, probably $1.

Books, nice, newer hardback- $1. Older, softcover, not as new 50 cents a piece.

Not very many people have a VCR. Therfore you shouldn't sell them for very much. Unless they are classic movies. I'd say about $1 each. That's the most I'd pay for them. If they are classics then charge like $5.

Books - softcover - maybe a dollar
hardcover - half off what the original selling price was, or less

VHS, no more than 1-5 dollars, any higher and nobody will buy.
