Im starting and im in IB- any tips?

An IB school's aim is to develop internationally-minded, independent learners. You will focus a lot of time becoming a learner who can recognize relationships between school subjects and the world outside. You will learn how to adapt to new situations and combine your knowledge and multiple intelligences to solve authentic problems alone or in groups. To obtain an opportunity to solve authentic problems, you will be required to perform community services.
A big part of IB is developing a sense of personal and cultural identity and respect for others. You will learn about local and global issues and concerns and develop a sense of responsibility and citizenship.
You will be studying traditional subjects such as sciences, humanities, 2nd language, math, art, technology, and physical education. The biggest difference is you will be making constant connections between subjects, and between subject content and the real world.
An IB school must still teach to state standards.

IB is International Bacclaureate. It is an "alternative", set-up program to take instead of AP classes, equal in both material and difficulty.
Just study hard for IB. I heard it's a tough challenge. Good things will come later to those who work hard.

Just be yourself and be sociable. You never know, you might make lots of friends(I did). I'm going to The 10th grade. What's IB?
